Jane O’Sullivan

I have just completed my sophomore year at Carnegie Mellon University.  I am majoring in materials science and engineering there.  This summer i will be working with the Scherer group as part of the research experience for undergraduates program at Princeton.  I will be doing research on  the expansion of clay-bearing stones by studying the mechanism of swelling when the clay is exposed to water.
